I have a fast turn around time, so for the best final results, I recommend that you bring your wedding gown or formal dress in no more than 6 weeks ahead of the event. (You are welcome to get your name on the schedule prior to that, though, to secure your spot.) This enables us to have an initial consultation/fitting and one or two follow-ups so that you will have a perfect fit on the day of the wedding. Altering too far in advance may create problems if you change size or change your mind prior to the big day.

What to bring:

Please bring your shoes, especially if you are wearing a heel. If you don't wear the exact shoes at the time of fitting, it’s very difficult to pin an accurate hem. If I have to guess based on “standing on toes”, a re-do will incur that cost again. Bring any undergarments you're going to wear- a push up bra makes a huge difference in fit, as does a crinoline or shape wear. We want the whole package ready to go...no surprises, right?

We will also look at a bustle if it has a train, and talk about the addition of bra cups. (NOTE: bra cups do not provide support, just shaping and coverage.)

FAQ:

What is a normal fitting? Most dresses need to be hemmed and often taken in a little. It's always better to order a bigger size if you are between sizes. Sleeve adjustments are common, as well.

How much will all of this cost? This is the million dollar question. Layers, beads, sequins, volume, ripping out, putting back together, adding inches, modifying. Anyone that takes the time to listen to your particular needs and produces a look that gives you confidence is worth the price to look and feel amazing!

Can I get a quote of services cost in advance? Yes! And you can feel free to discuss alternatives to certain services in order to keep to a certain budget.
